King obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Trinity University of Asia St. Luke’s College of Nursing in 2016, setting the stage for his healthcare career. Fueled by his passion for psychiatric mental health, he pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) specializing in psychiatric mental health at Charles R. Drew University, graduating in 2022. This advanced degree has equipped him with an in-depth understanding of mental health disorders and their treatment, enabling him to significantly impact the lives of his patients.
With four years of the enriching experience at Nevada’s State Hospital – Rawson Neal Psychiatric Hospital, King has gained invaluable insights working with acute patients. This environment exposed him to various psychiatric conditions and honed his ability to provide compassionate care to those in need. In recognition of his exceptional work and unwavering dedication, he was honored with the prestigious RN of the Year award in 2019, further affirming his commitment to making a positive difference in the field of mental health.
